<Poem>
自笑營閒事
從朝到日斜
澆畦引泉脈
掃逕避蘭芽
暖變墻衣色
晴催木筆花
桃根知酒渴
晚送一甌茶
<End Poem>
<Translation>
I laugh at myself at the way, from dawn to sunset,
I contrive to manage trifling things.
I draw water from the stream to irrigate the fields.
In clearing the path I spare the orchid's blossoms.
Warmth changes the color of the garment
Which the fence wears in spring;
Accentuated are the blossoms of the magnolia trees.
Peach Root knows when my throat is parched with wine,
So that at night she presents me
With a crock of tea.
